In the Name of Allah,
The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
♣MusliMarvels .:Notes & Advice From Mariam:.

  1. Three things evildoers/oppressors/wrongdoers gain when they treat you wrongly/unjustly (e.g. when someone makes fun of you for the way Allah created you, when someone steals from you knowingly, when someone lies to you, betrays you, talks badly behind you or even in front of you, doesn’t give you your rights as a Muslim such as in returning your salams or doesn’t respond to your ‘Alhamdulillah’ when you sneeze, when someone does evil things to keep you away from a loved one such as your spouse, when someone tries to keep you away from your friends, when someone tries to make you look bad in front of others, when someone does things to intently annoy you etc.):

    1) If they have done any good deed, some or all of their good deeds will be transferred to your account of good deeds. This will be a gain for you on the Day of Judgment inshaAllah.

    2) Some or all of your sins/wrongdoings will be transferred to their record of deeds. This will be a gain for you and a loss for them wrongdoers on the Day of Judgment. Remember that if a Muslim’s record of good deeds is heavier than their record of evil deeds, inshaAllah they will be admitted to Heaven. May Allah make us among those who never oppress anyone, Muslim or non-Muslim, for we do not want any of our good deeds to be transferred to others’ records. Ameen.

    3) Our du’as/supplications against the oppressors/wrongdoers (whether a sinful Muslim or evildoing unbeliever who treated you unjustly) will inshaAllah be answered in this world and/or on the Day of Judgment. Allah is the All-Hearing and the Most Just and the Most Wise. May Allah the Most Merciful answer all our good du’as and accept all our good deeds. Ameen. Allah knows best.

  2. Allah can give health, wealth, fame, beauty, kids,
Mansions, food and travel to anyone…
But only to those whom Allah loves and
Has mercy on, He gives them true Islam.

So just because you lack riches or some
Talent, or you think you’re not good enough,
Be pleased that you’re guided and have Islam,
And know that being Muslim is many
Times better than having material stuff.

Islam is the only key to Heaven, and every key has its tooth. Be true Muslims from your hearts, in word and action, and remember Allah every day and night and do as many good deeds as you can for Allah’s sake :)

Alhamdulillah that we are Muslims :)

  3. Poem: What We Can Learn From Our Childhood Memories (By Sister Mariam)

    In the Name of Allah
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

    Bismillah… in Allah’s Name I begin
This piece about my ‘childhood memories’
InshaAllah I shall mention a few
Of the good times that God has given me

This is not to annoy any Muslim –
This is to recall some of the good times
That Allah blessed me with and so that I
Thank Allah even more each day and night

    I remember that time when I haven’t
Started school –somewhere in east of Saudi
While waiting for the door to be unlocked
I was drinking milk –flavored strawberry

In that same apartment I recall some
Childhood friends playing with us in our flat
While each of us kids were given –by Mom
I think- some yummy Twix chocolate bars

There too, I recall, my parents praying
While my bro and I hid in our kids’ tent –
That time I guess took place the Gulf War and
We had some gas masks –no lie, no pretense…

In Dammam I recall often going
To King Fahad Park with my family
With friends too –picnicking there and riding
Swan boats, trains… rides of a variety

Often we’ve slept over at friends’ homes when
Going to Dammam from Riyadh City
With the various cars we’ve had in Saudi
White Toyota, black, silver and Audi

I recall while on our car journeys how
I enjoyed gazing at the starry skies
Passing by sand dunes and rocky mountains,
Camels of different color and size

And I recall how our friends from Dammam
Would come to our house in Riyadh city-
    We’d have a gathering… dine together
    In villas of different qualities

In Saudi, mashaAllah, we had friends
From almost every country of the world –
Brothers and sisters who all speak English –
Of various colors and age –young and old.

When I was young –even to my late teens,
My bros and I enjoyed watching T.V.
    Islamic programs in Arabic and
English and old shows like Sesame Street

I too recall that time when I sent a
Fax letter to an Islamic show ‘Live’
    ‘Twas an Arabic Fatawa program
Where answers to my questions were derived
About wearing the face-veil when outside
Yes, it’s wajib –by Allah’s Rules abide.

Alhamdulillah, as a kid, I have
Traveled to many different countries –
Chatted with friendly strangers often –at
Airports, stations –with those who sat near me

I recall that time when my bro Ahmad
And I were running around the airplane
With a brunette whose English I could not
Understand and who was about our age.

MashaAllah, in many of our tours
As a kid, there were fun and scary times…
When my bro and I unwillingly rode
A log flume ride to reach the other side.

I recall traveling to Denmark with
My bros and my Mom to meet my Dad there
How we stayed at a nice house and how on
The way I had to leave my necklace hare

In Denmark at the arrival I still
Recall seeing Dad smiling at us four
Then riding a large bus then a small cab
And meeting the happy dog at the door

Whose name is Jasper… can you imagine…
How his name and breed I still remember
And how the weather there was really cold
How in the garden we played much soccer

In Denmark I too remember my Dad
Buying us chocolates from a sweets store
Among them Toblerone and Bounty, some
Round containers of candies and much more

In the house we stayed in –for about a
Month, my brothers and I loved to explore,
From books, knitting needles, yarns, sewing kits…
    Especially had fun playing outdoors.

    MashaAllah –more memories from my
    Childhood include exploring Disneyland,
    Walt Disney World, Universal Studios,
And Euro Disneyland in Paris, France

Seeing statues of ‘celebs’ in the wax
Museum in the city of London
Clowns shaping balloons in HongKong, going
    To zoos, planetariums and aquariums.

    MashaAllah –more memories include
Me playing arm wrestling with Saudi friends
At the public school I went to –and the
Many packs of gum that I’d bring and lend

At the schools I’ve been to I was known for
Chewing and sharing gum almost each day
That a British-Saudi friend of mine called
Me “Bubblegum Princess” -’twas my nickname!

I recall how often I’d take the lead
In playing social games like Truth or Dare
How I’ve performed many times on stage and
The many uniforms I used to wear

And that time when I baked chocolate cake
‘Twas heart-shaped, had rainbow sprinkles on top,
Gave slices of cake to friends and school mates…
Was a student who loved to read a lot!

From among my childhood memories: Those
Times when my family and I donate
And give away many of our clothing
To the Muslims who were in a poor state

    Muslims in Chechnya and Palestine,
Those in Bosnia and other countries –
    I too recall the multinational
Charity food bazaars held at WAMY

So you see, mashaAllah, God let me
Befriend people from different countries –
With us frequently changing apartments –
    We’ve befriended colorful families.

More from my childhood memories include:
Riding ships, camels, a carriage with steeds,
Classic trains in Europe, monorail trains,
And in Disneyland a fun submarine.

Strangers I still remember from my past:
An Arab calling out to his mommy,
In the airport –I think, Heathrow airport-
In the playground: “Mama, ana monkey!”

And in Madinah after praying at
A well-known masjid –this cute old lady,
Whom I knew not but hugged my Mom dearly,
And gave her a ring with the letter ‘E’…
‘E’ for Emerald, ‘Eemaan’ or easy?

And that lass, about my age, who on a
Flight to Southeast of Asia sat near me,
While my family were seated in front
Of us –due to lack of space, I believe.

She was Indonesian I guess who worked
As a maid and spoke Arabic nicely
So together we chatted throughout the
Flight in Arabic about so many.

More sweet memories: the running games I
Played with friends at the schools I have been to
And that time when my Arab friends chose me
To draw some art to decorate the school

How some Saudi girls were admiring my
Handwriting, how many times I would buy…
Sweets and chocolate like Galaxy to
Give my parents when from school I’d arrive.

I remember too the birds we used to
Frequently feed outside our window sill.
And I remember buying a tank of
Goldfishes that some girls at school did sell.

I recall going to the huge pet store
With my family in search of a pet,
How this bunny was so friendly… how we
Bought more fishes and fish food in the end.

I remember too how often my Dad
Would bring home a box of assorted cakes,
And those months when I was bulimic –as
A teen I went through a very strange phase.

    Alhamdulillah, I no longer go
Through any teenage eating disorder –
One lesson from that is: don’t take pills that
Make you see a ‘fat’ you in the mirror.

And always know that God Allah will not
Judge you based on your outer appearance –
You’ll be asked about your intentions, your
Good deeds and if you stayed away from sins.

    MashaAllah –more memories include
Playing old PC and PlayStation games
Like Need For Speed, Rollercoaster Tycoon,
Mortal Kombat, SIMS… back then was insane…

So AstaghfurAllah for all the sins
Done out of ignorance or out of pride
May Allah forgive all of my mistakes –
The big and small –the ones I used to hide.

And Alhamdulillah for the good times,
Sweet memories from Allah the Most High.
May Allah make the highest level in
Heaven near Him the place where we abide.

What did you realize when you recall
The good things that have happened in the past?
That some memories stay, some people leave,
Some stay, and that time’s flying way too fast?

How you can remember many things, you
Will be made to recall on Judgment Day –
If you were a good Muslim the good deeds
You did –if not, how you spent life astray…

Collect as many good deeds as you can
So that in Heaven you recall how you…
Strived to do only what is right while you
Were pleased to be among the guided few.

  4. Dumb Atheists Can’t See Their Own Craziness :)

Allah knows best. When Allah hates a non-Muslim because of the myriad bad and detestable qualities that he’s been cursed with this atheist is but left with not just misguidance but absolute insanity :) The obvious signs of his craziness? 1) in his disbelief 2) in his knowing that Islam is the true religion yet he hides himself from Islam and Muslims 3) in his constant bullying of others out of mad insecurity 4) in his lies and foolish superstitious agendas 5) in misguiding others to be as insane as him.

Did you know? The falsely arrogant dimwitted atheists/evildoers will be among the most humiliated on the Day of Judgment

  5. Fast Today On Muharram Ten (With One Day Before Or After For Allah’s Sake) Wasalaam~

  6. Eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the world. TaqabbalAllah minna wa minkum :) may Allah the Most Merciful accept all our good deeds. Ameen.

During this day Eid Al-Adha and the following days of Tashreeq -11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul Hijjah, continue saying Takbeer, Tahleel and Tahmeed, your du’as and other adhkaarAllah for Allah’s sake, and recite more from the Noble Qur’an :)

It was narrated that The Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “The days of al-Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul Hijjah) are the days of eating, drinking and remembering Allah.” [Sahih Muslim]

Allah knows best. May Allah the Most Glorious make us among His friends whom He loves. Ameen.

  7. Today is Friday, dear Muslim brothers and Muslim sisters, remember to recite Surat Al-Kahf if you haven’t done so yet :)

And do not forget to fast on Yawm ‘Arafah (for those who are not performing Hajj while the Muslim pilgrims are in Makkah), this coming Monday inshaAllah. Eid Al-Adha may inshaAllah be on Tuesday. Allah knows best.

May Allah the Most Merciful accept all our good deeds and may Allah the Most Forgiving forgive all our sins. And may Allah make us among those Muslims whom He and His Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam love. Ameen.

  8. No Racism & Nationalism In Islam (ALL TRUE MUSLIMS ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS) Allah knows best :)

All true believing Muslims stand under the flag/banner of “La ilaha ilAllah Muhammad rasulAllah” -in English: “There is no god but the One God Allah and Muhammad (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) is the Messenger of Allah”.

There is no racism nor social discrimination in Islam. Allah, the Almighty, said: O mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (the one who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). [Qur’an 49:13]

Allah knows best. It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said in his final sermon that, “All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.”

Note: The point of this video is to let you know that certain Muslims, who are too nationalistic or somewhat racist, should not be too proud of their nationality and discriminate others of a different nationality because in the end we are all Muslims who are servants of One God Allah and believe in the same faith Islam, as though we all have one flag of ‘la ilaha ilAllah, Muhammad rasulAllah’ :)

    I am a Muslim, I’m not a “terrorist”.
How can I be a terrorist
when I’m against all kinds of injustice.

I’m against every act of sin and evil.
I hate all kinds of crime and even loathe
what Adolf did to the innocent Jewish people.

I hate what God hates; He (Allah) hates oppression.
I’m against stealing, against taking away
people’s loved ones and belongings for no reason.

    I’m against suicide bombings,
    against racism, against ignorance,
    against self-harm and even derision.

What God hates I hate and God (Allah) hates
oppression. I hate it too when people fight
    for foolish nationalistic reasons.

I’m a Muslim; I follow the true religion
of mercy from Allah the Most Merciful
Who simply wants us to answer His Call
to believe in Just One -Just One God of all.

So don’t call me a “terrorist” when I clearly
don’t have a ‘mass destruction’ weapon
and my goal in life is to
be with our God (Allah) in Heaven :)

  9. Allah knows best. It is the first of the ten days of Dhul Hijjah today Alhamdulillah. May Allah the Most Merciful accept all our good deeds and fasting. Ameen. And may Allah guide us all to that which He (Allah) and His beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam love. Ameen.

Remember to fast Sunnah fast on the Day of ‘Arafah :)

Allah knows best.)

:) May Allah the Most Merciful forgive all our sins and may He the Most Merciful accept all our good deeds. Ameen.
